Since November 2019, the official logo of Business Trend group of companies has been as follows

International audit company Deloitte verified Novolipetsk Steelworks (NLMK) indicators in terms of greenhouse gas emissions for 2020 in accordance with the method used in EU.
NLMK CO2 emission indicator per cast iron ton is 1,39 t СО2/t. For comparison, the index of 10% of European Union metallurgic plants with the lowest emission level is 1,36 t СО2/t. NLMK indicator is significantly better than the average emission level of European manufacturers is 1,50 t СО2/t.
This was the first verification of NLMK’s greenhouse gas emission level in accordance with EU ETS system method, in the future NLMK are planning to confirm this level annually.
NLMK’s greenhouse gas emission reduction program for the five-year period 2016-2020 allowed to decrease CO2 emission indicator per ton of steel by 4%. The company is planning to additionally reduce this index by 3% more.
