The Conference was traditionally organized by “Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs” Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment. The event was directly supported by RF Industry and Trade Ministry, Energy Ministry, Rosstandard, Government of Krasnodarskiy Krai, PJSC Gazprom and “Inter-Industry Council on Technical Regulation and Standardization in Russian Oil & Gas Complex”.
The Conference attendees included representatives of federal and regional authorities, managers of Eurasian Economic Union standardization bodies, managers and technical specialists of leading international and Russian oil & gas companies. The Conference was attended by about 150 people.
The Conference activities included discussions of the current status of Eurasian Economic Union technical regulation and standardization reforms. Some consideration was given to issues and perspectives of Russia’s oil & gas complex development, and the role of standardization in solutions to import phase-out issues.
Also there was the traditional session of Technical Committee 23 “Oil and Gas Industry” that allowed the specialists to know more about Technical Committee’s work, take an active part in its activities, helping to accelerate the development and implementation of new standards. Particular interest was generated by the report of S.V. Alimov, PJSC Gazprom Department Manager First Deputy, Manager of Subcommittee SC 8/TC 23 «Major Gas Pipeline Transport» that gave a detailed review of national standardization development in the field of main gasline transportation.
