During the seminar the participants were able to discuss the most topical issues of the field. The reports were presented on new methods of in-line inspection and pigging, ultraviolet technology for corona discharge detection on electric power equipment, modernization of eddy current NDT methods, etc.
Particular attention was paid to the educational and regulatory base in the field of NDT and technical diagnosis. The participants were acquainted with the new curricula of supplementary vocational education:
- Health and safety management systems in oil and gas industry complex based on the international standard ISO 45001:2016.
- Risk-oriented approach for technical diagnostics at oil and gas facilities.
- Construction, operation and quality control of the outfitting of gas transportation systems with the means of anti-corrosion protection with the instrumental control of the achieved parameters of electrochemical protection.
The reports on the improvement of the international and national NDT standards base, as well as the creation of new reference samples were presented. As a result of the seminar, a separate mention was made of reports with ICDNT recommendations for the ISO technical committee, working on updating the ISO 9712 standard and the results of the development of reference samples for the monitoring of railway rail defects.
