The deepest pipeline in the world is the pipeline project TurkStream (Turkish Stream) passing from the Anapa district of the Krasnodar territory Russia under the Black sea to the European part of Turkey. TurkStream is the first offshore pipeline in the world with pipe diameter of 81 cm, which is laid at a depth of 2200 m. The pipeline consists of two lines with a total capacity of 31.5 billion m3 per year. The total length of the pipeline is about 1100 km.
The project set a world record for the speed of laying of offshore gas pipelines – 6.27 km per day.
