DK Rus representatives assessed the readiness of the OMK plant for cooperation according to the localization program, visited leaf spring and rolling shops, met division managers.
Specialists from Naberezhnie Chelny made a note of a number of advantages, for example, international certificates which confirm the QMS conformity to high European standards, serious work experience with the largest Russian automobile plants as well as Volvo and Ford. Also the experts found some areas for improvement and gave their recommendations.
“The first visit of “Daimler Kamaz Rus” specialists opens prospects for cooperation whose basis will be the high quality and reliability of Chusov Plant products. We are developing and implementing a production development program considering the recommendations in order to reach the maximum supplier level according to DK Rus assessment scale. We, on our part, are ready to deliver our products to the manufacturer timely and fully”, - comments Azat Imamov, OMK Chusov Plant Managing Director.
