On October 24, 2019, speaking at the XII Eurasian economic forum, Rosneft company discussed with investors the possible participation in the "Vostok Oil" project in Taimyr. According to forecasts of the head of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin, the synergistic effect of the project can reach from 50 to 100 million tons of oil per year.
Within the framework of the "Vostok Oil" project, it is planned to develop the Lodochnoye, Tagulskoye and Vankorskoye fields. Part of it could be Payahsk fields of Eduard Khudainatov's "Neftegazkholding" . For the implementation of the project, the company requested benefits from the budget in the amount of 2.6 trillion rubles, in return promised to return from 5 trillion to 8.5 trillion rubles as investments. India expressed interest in the project.
